    Add methi seeds and bay leaf and fry for 1 min
  2. Add lemon juice, cumin seeds and salt
  3. Cut the potatoes into small pieces
  4. Once onions are brown and soft turn heat down, add a bit of water so spices dont burn. Add all the dry spices and mix
  5. Fry for 3-5min, add some water if dry. Turn into a paste
  6. Add tomatoes. Add some Puree (optional) or half -3/4 tin of chopped tomatoes. Add water if too thick.
  7. Add optional extras cream or yoghurt 1 dessert spoon
  8. Add chickpeas and potatoes, bring to the boil so bubbling and then simmer for 10-15 mins
